| Panels are the best way and, in most cases, the only legitimate way to conduct online research, particularly with children and families. Online panels improve the quality of research results and provide cost-savings and fast efficient decision-making support. Custom Panels that reflect a client's targeted customer significantly reduce research program costs and, most importantly through our methods and technologies, provide instant intimate access to the child consumer and their parents. An important element to our panel management is that we build in an on-going
dialogue between our clients and their kids Panel. The ability to quickly
gain insights and directly interface with children and parents is a powerful
benefit provided by our service. Proprietary features such as TalkBackSM
and innovative programs like our KidAdvisorSM We maintain close communication with panel members via email, phone (800 number maintained for panel use) and mail, as appropriate for the communication. Panel members are encouraged to contact us at anytime by which ever means is most convenient to them. Panel members receive a prompt response to any inquiry. In all our communication we strive to ensure that the children and their parents feel that they're part of a valuable and meaningful process and that their opinions do count. Panel recruitment is accomplished by a variety of means depending on the needs of our client. This could mean recruiting from households pre-qualified as interested in doing online surveys (of course we don't send unsolicited email), pulling from mail or telephone samples, recruiting from a client provided sample, recruiting from one of our websites, recruiting from affiliate websites or any combination therein. If necessary, we could even assemble a Panel that includes non-computer users although for most research purposes this would be an unnecessary expense. Since much of child research involves learning a parent's perspective as well as a child's, panel participants are typically recruited as households (parent also willing to participate). Regardless, initial contact for recruitment to a panel is always with a parent, we do not communicate with a child in any form without first informing a parent of the purpose and obtaining their consent. We follow special procedures to protect the privacy of the child, obtain
parental consent, verify recruitment qualifications, adhere to laws and
regulations and enhance the security of our clients. |
